Henjz Gabriel Demisana of Bacolod Tay Tung High School was recently named to the Philippine Jr. NBA All-Star Team following the conclusion of the Jr. NBA/WNBA National Training Camp at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall in Pasay City.
The Bacolodnon center, alongside nine others, will represent the country at the 1st Jr. NBA Global Championship Asia-Pacific Selection Camp next month in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The team was selected among 80 basketball players, between the ages of 10 and 14, who qualified through participating in regional selection camps earlier this year.
The Jr. NBA is the league’s global youth basketball program that teaches fundamental skills, builds character, and promotes active lifestyles./ASC, WDJ
