Negrense wins Pangasinan tournament

Negrense Bernadeth Pons, alongside Floremel Rodriguez, led Petron XCS to its third consecutive Philippine Super Liga (PSL) championship after recently winning the PSL Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup at the Capitol Beach Front in Lingayen, Pangasinan.

The pair retained the title with a 21-10, 21-14 sweep of Sta. Lucia Santorini, comprised of Ilonggas Jackie Estoquia and Dhanylaine Demontano.

Meanwhile, Sta. Lucia Woodside, comprised of Negrense players Bianca Lizares and Jennifer Cosas, took third place after defeating Derie Rose Virtusio Merry Rose Jauculan, representing Petron Sprint 4T-University of Santo Tomas./ASC, WDJ
