Mayor touts ‘15-0’ as a ‘marketing scheme’
By Dominique Gabriel G. Bañaga

After Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia, Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, and Lone District Rep. Greg Gasataya each won reelection in last week’s midterm elections, the vice mayor said it indicates people do not want change.
During a recent interview on the “Kapehan sa Aksyon with Aksyon Boy Duran” radio program, the vice mayor credited their electoral success on the three elected officials “working in harmony.”
Meanwhile, the mayor, who was also present for the interview, touted the “15-0” campaign, likening it to a “marketing scheme.”
Grupo Progreso (GP), the mayor’s political coalition, won all but one seat of the city council after incumbent City Councilor Wilson Gamboa, Jr., a member of the opposing Asenso for Better Bacolod-Magbinuligay Kita sa Kauswagan coalition, beat out GP bet Marlon Solidum for the last spot./DGB, WDJ
