The Western Visayas Private Schools Athletic Association (WVPRISAA), represented by the Negros Occidental Private School Sports, Cultural and Educational Association, will be competing in the 2019 PRISAA National Games, which begin today and run until May 24 in Davao City.
“This is the strongest basketball team ever formed by WVPRISAA,” said team manager Paul Cruz. “I am hoping that this year’s selection will be able to bring home the national PRISAA crown and deliver the championship to the province.”
The roster includes players from Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias (CSAV), STI-West Negros University, La Consolacion College-Bacolod, and the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos.
“We will do our best,” said CSAV’s Jeffrey Manday. “We know that the competition is going to be tough since we are facing the best teams from around the country.”/ASC, WDJ
