Dave Ando came up with the go-ahead basket for the Ironcon-UST Growling Tigers to eke out a 78-75 win over the St. Clare Saints-Virtual Reality last Thursday in the 2019 PBA D-League at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Brent Paraiso finished the match with 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists for Ironcon-UST; while Rhenz Abando and Negrense Mark Nonoy each added 13 points.
After losing their 73-67 edge late in the match, Ando surged Ironcon-UST ahead anew at 76-75. Paraiso then canned two free throws to extend the lead to three with 4.3 seconds left.
