More imports expected for the competition

After earlier reporting on Charles Rhodes’ return to the San Miguel Beermen and expectations for John Fields suiting up for Magnolia Hotshots for the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup, which opens this weekend, May 19, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, there are 10 other import players expected to compete.
Justin Brownlee will be joining Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, Terrence Jones for TNT KaTropa, Gani Lawal – Meralco Bolts, Chris Daniels – Alaska Aces, Kyle Barone – Columbian Dyip, Prince Ibeh – NorthPort Batang Pier, Curtis Washington – NLEX Road Warriors, Denzel Bowles – Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, Alex Stepheson – Blackwater Elite, and Robert Dozier – Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters.
Blackwater Elite and the Meralco Bolts are scheduled to open the competition, when they meet at 4:30 p.m. That game will be followed by the Alaska Aces taking on the Columbian Dyip at 6:45 p.m./ASC, WDJ
