A 52-year-old man was killed Wednesday afternoon after he was shot by two gunmen at Calle Gomez in Talisay City’s Barangay Dos Hermanas.

Police identified the fatality as Alex Casama, a resident of Hacienda San Antonio 1 in the said barangay.

Based on information provided by Talisay City police, Casama, who was accompanied by his wife, was claiming money intended to pay his laborers when he was shot by two unidentified men.

The suspects, who got away with P100,000, were reportedly earlier spotted drinking coffee at a nearby shop.

Following the incident, the two boarded a motorcycle and immediately fled east.

The victim was declared dead on the spot after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head.

Police are presently investigating the incident./DGB, WDJ
