The Marinerong Pilipino Skippers kept playoff hopes alive following their 90-76 win in the ongoing 2019 PBA D-League over Perpetual Altas earlier this week at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Gab Banal led the win with 27 points, 12 boards, and six assists; while Leonard Santillan chipped in a double-double with 21 points and 17 rebounds.

Coming back from a 32-20 deficit, Marinerong Pilipino went on a run in the second quarter to capture a 50-36 lead at the half.

They eventually went on to hold the lead through to the end of the game.
