Philippines beats Myanmar, 5-0

The Philippine girls’ U-15 national team bounced back from their earlier 2-0 loss to Vietnam by clobbering Myanmar, 5-0, at the ongoing AFF U15 Girls’ Championship 2019 last Sunday in Chonburi, Thailand.

Mikaela Jacqueline Villacin, Jenny Perez, Cherry Mae Danoso, Maegan Andrea Alforque, and Rea Mikaela Tolentino each contributed a goal.

“Each tournament is a challenge,” said Philippine team head coach Rachelle delos Reyes. “We hope that whatever this team has achieved in the past, we could better it.”
