San Carlos City District Hospital opens dialysis center

The San Carlos City District Hospital opened a new kidney dialysis center yesterday morning.

Hospital chief, Dr. Archilles Ponferrada, said it is the first 10-chair dialysis center in the Negros Occidental first congressional district.

He said the dialysis center project was a public-private partnership between the city hospital and Nephro Prime Corporation, which is headed by Dr. Gil Octaviano.

Octaviano added, dialysis service begin before the end of this month.

San Carlos City Mayor Gerardo Valmayor, Jr. affirmed the city government will continue to work on improving the city and the city hospital.

Construction of said center was funded by the city government at a cost of P3 million./DGB, WDJ
