Garcia-Yulo: Duterte assured safety

While in Moises Padilla earlier this week, President Rodrigo Duterte met with both Moises Padilla Mayor Magdaleno Peña and Vice Mayor Ella Celestina Garcia-Yulo.

The vice mayor confirmed, during their meeting, the president assured safety for the town.

She also said Duterte would bring justice for the recent killings of her relatives, Mark and Michael Garcia.

While in town, the president also attended a command conference with officials from the Commission on Elections (Comelec), Philippine National Police, and Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Moises Padilla was earlier placed under Comelec control following a recent spate of violence in the area./DGB, WDJ
