The Iloilo City Commission on Elections (Comelec) will be conducting the final testing and sealing of vote counting machines today beginning at 9:00 a.m.

According to Iloilo City elections officer, Atty. Mavil Majarucon-Sia, a total of 388 machines, along with another 388 voters registration verification machines, have already been delivered to the city’s polling precincts.

“This is a very important activity because we need to test the machine nga wala sya problema prior ta nga gamiton on election day (This is very important because we need to ensure the machines are without problems before they are used on election day),” she explained.
