Bacolod City Treasurer Giovanni Balalilhe confirmed in a radio interview that the official ballots, along with the indelible ink to be used during Monday’s midterm elections, have arrived in the city.
According to Balalilhe, the official ballots were delivered on Wednesday.
The delivery was witnessed by poll watchers belonging to various local candidates, along with the police, Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting, and Commission on Elections.
Balalilhe has since requested additional police officers to guard the election paraphernalia, which are now stored at the BAYS Center.
The official ballots will be delivered to various polling precincts throughout the city early Monday morning, prior to the start of the elections at 6:00 a.m./DGB, WDJ
