Program underway

The Iloilo City Summer Wellness Program, an event designed for city government employees, officially kicked off earlier this week at the city’s Plaza Libertad.

“We encourage [city employees] to engage in sports to prevent diseases because of unhealthy lifestyle,” said City Sports Division officer-in-charge Moises Salomon, Jr.

Among the events to be contested during the program include basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and badminton.

“We have prepared prizes for the winners of each sports event,” Salomon added./WDJ
