Police recovered P50,000 worth of shabu earlier this week following a buy-bust operation against a suspect who had previously surrendered on drug charges in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City.

Police identified the suspect as 35-year-old Joemar Parcon, who was arrested in his home at the corner of Camia-Marapara Streets in the said barangay.

Police Station 7 (PS7) commander, Police Major Sherlock Gabana, said Parcon previously surrendered to police but has reportedly continued in the illicit activity.

The suspect was also tagged as high value drug target by the local police.

Cops recovered three sachets of suspected shabu, the P500 buy-bust money, a coin purse, and drug paraphernalia.

Parcon is facing illegal drugs charges and is presently detained at PS7./DGB, WDJ
