A late goal from Xavi Zubiri was all De La Salle University (DLSU) needed in their recent 1-0 win over Far Eastern University (FEU) at the FEU-Diliman Pitch. The win earned DLSU a spot in the UAAP Season 81 men’s football “Final 4.”
The stoppage time goal was Zubiri’s first in the UAAP.
In the other match, the University of the Philippines (UP) beat the University of the East, 3-0.
UP and DLSU will meet in the knockout semifinals tomorrow at the Rizal Memorial Stadium. Meanwhile, FEU faces Ateneo de Manila University in their semifinal./ASC, WDJ
