Che’Lu beats Ironcon-UST in the D-League

The Che’Lu Bar and Grill Revellers kept their 2019 PBA D-League after their recent 92-80 win over the Ironcon-UST Growling Tigers at the JCSGO Gym in Cubao, Quezon City.
Rey Suerte led the win with 27 points, while Gabriel Dagangon scored 17, and Alfred Batino added 14 markers.
The Revellers started strong and went up by as much as 65-47 in the third period but the Growling Tigers went on a massive run to close the gap to 65-63 heading into the fourth.
The Revellers, however, regained its form in the final quarter as it unloaded a huge 19-0 run behind Suerte, Batino, and Dagangon, resulting in an 89-66 advantage with 3:07 left on the clock.
“This [was] a must win,” said Revellers head coach Stevenson Tiu.
