The MassKara Festival dancers were named “Best Foreign Group” over the weekend during the 2019 Daegu Colorful Festival in South Korea.

“I congratulate our MassKara dancers and choreographers for this recent feat,” said Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia. “This enhances further the attraction and image of our very own MassKara Festival.”

The Bacolod City-based group beat 21 other competitors, including teams from Japan, China, Russia, Indonesia, Vietnam, among others.

Along with the recognition, the MassKara Festival dancers were awarded 7 million KRW (around P310,000)./WDJ
