Petron forces decider in the PSL finals

The Petron Blaze Spikers kept title retention hopes alive after their 23-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-19 victory over the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers last Thursday in Game 2 of the 2019 PSL Grand Prix Conference finals at the San Juan Arena.

With the series tied 1-1, the two meet in a decider tonight.

Katherine Bell finished the match with a double-double for Petron on 25 points and 24 digs; Stephanie Niemer contributed 23 hits; Mika Reyes contributed 13 markers on seven kills, four blocks, and a pair of aces; Ilongga Aiza Maizo-Pontillas offered up seven markers; and Rhea Dimaculangan had 29 excellent sets.

After losing Game 1, Petron coach Shaq Delos Santos called it a “wake-up call.”/ASC, WDJ
