Man shot dead by riding-in- tandem suspects in Sagay City

A 36-year-old man was killed Thursday night after he was shot by riding-in-tandem suspects in Barangay Paraiso, Sagay City.

Police identified the fatality as Christian Analucas, a resident of the said area.

Sagay City police said the victim was having a conversation with his father-in-law and uncle along the highway when two unidentified gunmen opened fire at Analucas.

The suspects immediately fled, while the victim’s family rushed him to the Lopez District Hospital in Sagay City, where he was later declared dead on arrival after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.

Police recovered three empty .45 caliber shells and one deformed slug from the crime scene.

Sagay City police have yet to determine the motive behind the shooting./DGB, WDJ
