Local Indian community donates P150K in medical equipment

Punjabi Khalsa Diwan, a local Indian Sikh community in Bacolod City, yesterday donated P150,000 worth of medical equipment and other items to the Teresita Locsin Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City.

Among the items donated included blood pressure monitors, nebulizers, emergency lights, and electric fans.

Aside from the hospital, the group also donated supplies to local schools in Bacolod City.

The group previously conducted an outreach program during Holy Week observances last year, when they provided free drinking water to churchgoers at the San Sebastian Cathedral during Good Friday services./WDJ
