Go for Gold Scratchers-Benilde Blazers earned a 107-87 win over the Petron-Letran Knights in the 2019 PBA D-League last Thursday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Roosevelt Adams unloaded 29 points on 6-of-9 from threes, along with 11 rebounds and four blocks for the Scratchers. In addition, Unique Naboa contributed 20 points, seven assists, and five boards; while Clement Leutcheu and Ilonggo Yankie Haruna each scored 14 markers.
The Scratchers started strong and went up by as much as 29 points, leading 64-35 early in the third quarter. The Knights rallied and brought the game as close as 91-82 before Go For Gold pulled away anew, up 101-84.
In the other game, St. Clare Saints-Virtual Reality beat McDavid Apparels, 93-82.
Mohammed Pare led the win with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks; while Darwin Lunor earned a double-double off 19 points and 11 boards./ASC, WDJ
