A newly-identified drug personality was arrested early yesterday morning following a buy-bust operation at Purok Kingfisher in Bacolod City’s Barangay 16.
Police identified the suspect as Kristi Ray Jakosalem, a resident of the said area.
Police Station 1 (PS1) commander, Police Major Jovil Sedel, said they arrested Jakosalem after he handed one small sachet of shabu worth P200 to a police poseur buyer.
A search further yielded 12 small sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia.
Jakosalem, meanwhile, admitted to selling illegal drugs citing poverty as his reason for engaging in the illicit activity.
The suspect is detained at PS1 and is facing illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
