The Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) secondary girls’ volleyball suffered a 25-23, 26-24 loss to Region VII earlier this week in the ongoing 2019 Palarong Pambansa at the Davao City–University of the Philippines Sports Complex.

“It was very unfortunate that we failed to deliver when needed,” said assistant coach Biboy Calamba. “This should be a lesson for them.”

“We should give our 100 percent every game,” he added.

In other events, the WVRAA secondary boys’ basketball team defeated Soccsksargen, 81-79; while the elementary boys’ basketball team beat the Cordillera Administrative Region, 68-36.
