healthy amid El Niño
The Department of Health (DOH) offered tips on staying healthy amid ongoing El Niño conditions, which AccuWeather describes as a climate pattern that raises sea temperatures in the Pacific Ocean and results in drought conditions due to reduced rainfall.
According to a social media post, DOH suggests conserving water but also encouraged the public to consume between eight to 10 glasses of water every day.
They also suggest keeping updated on shellfish ban updates, along with always wearing clean clothes.
In addition, the department recommended avoiding direct sunlight between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m./WDJ
