Kaya FC-Iloilo opened their 2019 Philippine Premier League campaign with a 3-0 win over Green Archers United over the weekend at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in Manila.
Midfielder Arnel Amita put the Ilonggo side up 1-0 in the 13th minute off a pass from striker Darryl Roberts. Forward Jovin Bedic went on to double the lead three minutes later.
Kaya went into halftime up 2-0.
In the second half, in the 79th minute, Kaya midfielder Yannick Tuazon put the defending Copa Paulino Alcantara champions up 3-0.
