A 59-year-old woman is currently recovering after she was struck by lightning last Thursday in Bago City’s Barangay Busay.

Police identified the victim as Isabelita Pateño, a resident of Purok Saging in the said barangay.

Based on initial police investigations, the victim was inside her home when she was struck by lightning.

Pateño was rushed to the Bago City Hospital for initial treatment and later transferred to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City./DGB, WDJ
