Bacolod Tay Tung High School (BTTHS) recently clinched the 1st Barangay Bubog Invitational U-11 Basketball Tournament crown after their 93-67 rout of the Bobcats at the Barangay Bubog Gym in Talisay City.

BTTHS swept the tournament with team member Dave Matthew Recodo named Most Valuable Player.

“I am happy with our performance here in this tournament,” said BTTHS coach Atoy Callora. “The players followed the game plan well.”

“I hope that we can bring that towards our next tournaments here in Bacolod,” he added.

Also making up the BTTHS roster included Adrian Alagaban, Joaquin Chuatico, Jorald Gambol, Chino Uy, Thomas Gonzalea, William Malacad, Chubby Lamasan, Marcus Severino, John Bejemino, Carlos Cacantana, Ronnie Medina, Asya Wang, and Carl Fernandez./ASC, WDJ
