Far Eastern University (FEU) cruised to a 3-1 victory over Adamson University in the 81st UAAP men’s football season earlier this week at the FEU-Diliman pitch.

Nikki Canonigo slotted home a goal in the 43rd minute off a Poi Saldivar cross to put FEU ahead. Saldivar then scored off a counter attack to double their lead early in the second half.

Adamson cut the deficit in the 57th minute as Allen Lozano’s corner kick went straight into the net; however, FEU regained the two-goal edge when Alex Rayos scored from a Gio Pabualan corner in the 73rd minute.

In other matches, the University of the Philippines rallied from a goal down to beat National University, 4-1; while De La Salle University defeated the University of the East, 2-0./ASC, WDJ
