June Mar Fajardo of the San Miguel Beermen is on track to clinch “Best Player of the Conference” after guiding his team to the 2019 Honda PBA Philippine Cup semifinals.

Tallying 42.2 statistical points (SPs) at the end of the elimination round, built around 22.1 points and 12.5 rebounds per game, Fajardo is heavily favored for what would be his sixth trophy.

If named “Best Player of the Conference,” he becomes an automatic candidate for the “Most Valuable Player” trophy.

Also vying for the ‘Best Player’ title include Sean Anthony and Stanley Pringle of NorthPort Batang Pier with 37.1 and 36.0 SPs, respectively; Calvin Abueva of the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters with 34.9 SPs; and Roger Pogoy of TNT KaTropa with 34.7 SPs./ASC, WDJ
