Famous chefs feature in ‘Kaon Na ‘Ta’

 

The ongoing Panaad sa Negros Festival played host to the first “Kaon Na ‘Ta,” which gathered famous chefs to promote homegrown flavors and support the province’s agri-aqua farming communities.

Among the notable personalities to participate in the event included chefs JP Anglo, Nico Millanes, Joeri Arro, Don Colmenares, Patrick Go, and Kalel Demetrio.

The chefs features various dishes including crab pinangat, seared tuna “pinaksiw,” pork humba tostado, batchoy, pancit canton with crispy lechon, among others, which were all prepared with local ingredients.

Funds from tickets sales for the event will be donated to charity./WDJ
