First day sales top P2.4M
First day sales following the first day of the ongoing Panaad sa Negros Festival totaled P2,474,313. According to the recently released Panaad report, the Eco-Garden Show earned just half of the day’s total sales, coming to around P1.2 million.
Also reporting high revenues was the Livestock and Dairy Fair, which took in P771,305.
Earlier this week, outgoing Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. said his legacy includes making the Panaad sa Negros Festival a profitable entity.
“Visitors are many and many products sold,” he noted.
The festival is scheduled to close on Sunday, April 14, with the Panaad Drumbeating Competition and a fireworks display./WDJ
