Winners named in 13K run

Jason Padayao and Stephanie Cadosale emerged as winners of the recent Panaad sa Negros 13K Run at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City.

The run was an official event of the ongoing Panaad sa Negros Festival.

Padayao, a standout runner for Bacolod City’s Romanito Maravilla National High School, won the men’s division with a time of 45:15; while Cadosale of Escalante City triumphed on the women’s side with 57:27.

The winners were each awarded P5,000.

A total 335 runner from across Negros Occidental took part in the event.

The festival is scheduled to close on Sunday, April 14, with the Panaad Drumbeating Competition and a fireworks display./ASC, WDJ
