Outgoing Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. said he would be willing to provide advice for a Eugenio Jose Lacson gubernatorial administration, who is considered the “presumptive heir” to the position.
However, the incumbent vice governor faces Dacongcogon Farmers Producers Cooperative chair, Atty. Rolando Parpa, in this year’s governor’s race.
When asked if he would accept a position in a Lacson administration, Marañon said he would not accept a position but can offer “one cent advice.”/DGB, WDJ
