The Regional Drug Enforcement Unit-6 (RDEU-6) seized almost P10 million worth of suspected shabu last Friday after conducting a buy-bust operation at the JR Torres Subdivision in Bacolod City’s Barangay Singcang-Airport.

Police identified the arrested suspects as Sidney Hulleza, a former overseas Filipino worker; and his live-in-partner Betty Bongay. Both are residents of the said community.

RDEU-6 team leader, Police Captain Marc Dado, said the two were arrested after they sold one big sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P35,000.

A follow-up search yielded a total of 275 sachets of suspected shabu, with an overall weight of 1.380 kilos.

The pair faces illegal drugs charges and are presently detained at Police Station 8./DGB, WDJ
