Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) sealed a spot in the UAAP Season 81 women’s volleyball “Final 4” after their recent 25-20, 25-10, 25-18 sweep of Far Eastern University (FEU) at the San Juan Arena.
Pauline Gaston and Kat Tolentino each finished with 11 points, while Madeleine Madayag and Bea de Leon added seven markers each.
From back and forth action in the first set, AdMU saw its 21-17 lead trimmed to 21-20 deficit before making a decisive run, capped by an error from FEU’s Ivana Agudo.
Momentum for AdMU continued in the second set as they jumped to a 14-2 advantage before making a final run.
