Jarvey Gayoso scored a brace for Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) in their 3-1 win over De La Salle University (DLSU) in the 81st UAAP men’s football season last Thursday at the Far Eastern University-Diliman (FEU-Diliman) pitch.
DLSU drew first blood with Mauro Acot scoring a rocket from way outside the box at the 10th minute. Shortly after, Gayoso delivered an equalizer in the 16th minute.
Rupert Baña then found the back of the net in the 42nd minute, giving AdMU a 2-1 lead at halftime.
Gayoso completed his brace with an 83rd minute conversion.
Meanwhile, FEU defeated National University, 2-1; while the University of Santo Tomas beat the University of the East, 2-1./ASC, WDJ
