Several Bacolod City-based students were among 13 selected to participate in the Jr. NBA/WNBA National Training Camp in Manila following the Jr. NBA/WNBA Regional Selection Camp, which was held at Saint Louis School of Don Bosco, Inc. in Dumaguete City.

John Ordas, Heinzy Gabriel Demisana, and Mike Estelloso of Bacolod Tay Tung High School, alongside Allan Joseph Banas of the University of St. La Salle (USLS), were picked for the Jr. NBA camp; while Jaira Dela Cruz of Bacolod City National High School, Mary Rose Dugenio of La Consolacion College-Bacolod, and Gin Kayla Relliquete of USLS will take part in the Jr. WNBA camp.
