Three teams in contention for final two QF spots

With the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup elimination round set to end tonight at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, there are three teams currently in contention for the final two quarterfinal spots.

The NLEX Road Warriors, NorthPort Batang Pier, and Alaska Aces can still qualify for the quarterfinals as NLEX meets the Magnolia Hotshots at 4:30 p.m. and NorthPort Batang Pier faces Barangay Ginebra San Miguel at 7:00 p.m.

If NLEX and NorthPort both win their games, the Aces will be eliminated; if they both lose, the three will be tied, forcing a knockout game between NorthPort and the Aces; if NLEX wins and NorthPort loses, the latter faces a knockout game with the Aces; and if NLEX loses and NorthPort wins, NLEX and the Aces will faceoff in a knockout game./ASC, WDJ
