Bacolod Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts athletics team are set to compete in the Filipino-Chinese Amateur Athletic Federation (FCAAF) Track and Field Invitational Cup starting today at Lingayen, Pangasinan.
Last year’s MVP awardee Antonette Jay Aguillon will spearhead the defending overall secondary division champions Thunderbolts along with graduating standouts Franz Gela Bintad and May Therese Gula.
Sisters Hannah and Ara Delotavo, Stephane and Alexa Malate, Ysabelle Jalea, Ralph Acuña, Kenjie Okudaira, Klyde Montalbo, Jaden Rivera, Fritz Valencia, Luis Subayco, and Joshua Santander are also part of the team.
Aguillon was the bemedalled athlete in the secondary division last year after taking home six gold medals in the 100m, 200m, long jump, triple jump, 4×100 relay, and 4×400 relay.
Thunderbolts will also compete in the elementary category, which will be led by Shalthea Delotavo, Krisha Dedoyco Aguillon, Jade Cordova, April Dealagdon, Jothea Ramos and Ana Hermosura.
Joining the delegation were coaches Amado Juguan, Leigh Dano and Miguel Guevarra along with team manager Jose Montalbo and Bacolod Tay Tung sports coordinator and PT Emmanuel Ma./ASC, WDJ
