Motorcyclist nabbed for drug paraphernalia

A motorcycle driver was arrested at Barangay 2, Sipalay City after the police discovered he was carrying drug paraphernalia.

Police identified the suspect as 28-year-old Raymund Lunares, a resident of Barangay Bata, Bacolod City.

Information released by the Sipalay City Police Station stated that they were conducting a Commission on Elections checkpoint in the said area when they ordered Lunares to stop his motorcycle.

When police searched Lunares, they recovered an improvised tooter from him, prompting them to arrest him.

A further search yielded a lighter and cash amounting to P1,590.

Lunares is now detained at the Sipalay City Police Station./DGB, WDJ
