The Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NORPPO) called on motorists to help in solving the murder of Provincial Board member Miguel Dungog.
Dungog was gunned down by two motorcycle-riding suspects while he was walking down Dumaguete City around 4 p.m. on Monday.
In a statement released yesterday, the NORPPO said motorists with dashboard cameras who passed by the Aldecoa Drive heading to Silliman University Medical Center between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on the day of the incident are urged to see the police.
Their cameras’ recordings may help identify the suspects, NORPPO added.
One of the suspects wore a bull cap and an orange long-sleeve shirt, according to the provincial police officer.
Police investigators were still determining the motive in the shooting.
Dungog is running as Board member of Negros Oriental’s 3rd District, allied with incumbent Negros Oriental governor Roel Degamo./DGB, WDJ
