Man survives shooting in San Carlos

A 46-year-old man managed to escape with his life after he was shot by a motorcycle-riding gunmen at Barangay Guadalupe, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

The victim, Hipolito Decatoria, a resident of the said place, sustained multiple gunshot wounds on his body.

San Carlos City police said Decatoria was driving a tricycle along the national highway on Tuesday afternoon when the riding-in-tandem suspects shot him using a .45 caliber firearm.

Decatoria was immediately rushed by bystanders to the San Carlos City District Hospital.

Recovered from the crime scene were three deformed .45 caliber cartridges and a .45 caliber slug.
