Bago City PNP gets assault rifles from city government

The Bago City government turned over six assault rifles to the Bago City Police Station yesterday.

Mayor Nicholas Yulo led the turnover of guns to boost law enforcement capabilities of the local police.

Yulo also urged Bago City Police Station personnel to maintain peace and order in the city.

Meanwhile, Bago City Police Station officer-in-charge, Supt. Eleuterio Ricardo, thanked the city mayor and the local government for the continuous support to their station.

The said assault rifles add to the millions of pesos worth of logistical equipment also donated by the Bago City government to the local police station. On January, the city government turned over one unit of 4×4 pickup type service vehicle amounting to P1.6 million to the local police station./WDJ
