The “Philippine Fun Instagram Ambassadors” familiarization trip organized by the Tourism Promotions Board and the Department of Tourism (DOT) office in Tokyo, in partnership with Cebu Pacific Air, brought five Japanese Instagram users to Boracay from March 9 to 11.

During their visit, they dined at the Sunny Side Café, visited Puka Beach, and ended their tour at Discovery Shores.

The program seeks to create an awareness of various tourist destinations through social media platform Instagram.

The visitors were required to create seven Instagram posts and three Instagram stories per day./WDJ
