Ceres-Negros FC confirmed for Philippine Premier League

Inaugural season begins on March 30

Two-time Philippines Football League champion Ceres-Negros FC was recently confirmed to compete in the upcoming Philippine Premier League (PPL) after their application was approved.

The season is scheduled to begin next weekend, March 30, at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in Manila.

PPL CEO Bernard Sumayao affirmed the Bacolod City-based squad will be one of seven clubs to participate, alongside Kaya FC-Iloilo; Green Archers United FC; Mendiola FC; Philippine Air Force FC; Stallion Laguna FC; and United Makati FC, which was previously known as Global FC.

Aside from PPL, the second Copa Paulino Alcantara will also be held, where Kaya FC are the defending champions.

The complete fixture schedule will be released late this week.

Matches will be aired live 5PLUS, along with an online livestream.
