LCC celebrates 100 years with ‘Festival of Talents’

In commemoration of La Consolacion College-Bacolod (LCC) turning 100 tomorrow, March 12, the school hosted the “Festival of Talents” last Wednesday at the Quadrangle.

The competition featured six teams from different senior high school strands, each comprised of at least 30 performers.

The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) come out the winner.

The event included renditions of songs by Bruno Mars, Sia, Psy, Michael Jackson, and Madonna.

In addition, the Arts and Design group performed a live version of “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen.

Earlier, as a kick off to the centennial celebration, around 2,000 LCC students, faculty, and alumni gathered for a pilgrimage walk, which stretched from the main campus to the Pope John Paul II Tower, located in Bacolod City’s reclamation area./WDJ

The team representing the Tourism strand performed a song by Psy
The STEM group, who won the competition, performed “24K Magic” by Bruno Mars
The STEM group also performed Sia’s “The Greatest”
