Bacolodnon extends golden run in taekwondo

After dominating previous taekwondo competitions, Bacolodnon Jamie Hannah Agaloos recently captured gold in the Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet in Bacolod City.

The Tangub Christian Academy student won gold in the junior individual event in silver in the junior tea class.

“I am happy that my hard work has paid off,” she said. “I plan to win more competitions this year.”

Agaloos, who trains with the Negros Taekwondo Union, earlier won bronze medals at the Smart National Carlos Palanca, Jr. Taekwondo Championships and the World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships./ASC, WDJ
