Supporters call the candidate: Duterte’s ‘alter ego’

Local operators of a ride-hailing service conducted a caravan yesterday through Bacolod City in support of former Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence ‘Bong’ Go’s candidacy for senate.

The caravan kicked off at three different venues, in Barangays Sum-ag and Bata, along with the East View Hotel along Circumferential Road, with the three converging along Burgos Street in the Bredco reclamation area.

The group was backed by Concerned Communities for a Better Western Visayas, an organization supportive of the Duterte administration, who previously wrote a letter to the president, crediting him with inspiring them to develop the Western Visayas into “a hub of business enhancement and tourism promotion.”

In addition, the local ride-hailing community said they consider Go as Duterte’s “alter ego,” noting, he will deliver their message to the president with urgency.

The group said they are expecting the president to extend assistance to their sector./DGB, WDJ
