Alaska Aces vented its ire on Barangay Ginebra San Miguel with a 104-78 annihilation in the 2019 Honda PBA Philippine Cup last Sunday night at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

Simon Enciso led the way for Alaska with 23 points, Chris Banchero added 20, while Carl Bryan Cruz and Chris Exciminiano each scored 12 points.

After being handily defeated by Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters last Friday, the Aces came out blazing against the Ginebra with Banchero and Enciso setting the tone for a 53-24 halftime lead.

The lead grew even further in the second half, reaching as high as 30 points, but the Aces did not slow down and knocked down a triple at the buzzer courtesy of Enciso.

“I expect that we will play hard but I did not expect that kind of result,” said Aces head coach Alex Compton./ASC, WDJ
